The paths to personal and professional success are as individual as the people who take them. We also follow this motto in our personnel development, because encouraging and challenging people to emphasise their individual strengths is particularly important to us.
Today we take a proud look at the journey of Marcel Vincenz, our new project manager in Berlin.
Marcel made his way to LIEBERT 5 years ago. It was personal recommendations from friends and the LIEBERT company structure, with the corresponding trade specialisations, that shaped his decision.
He started out as a specialist planner for the heating/cooling trades in our Berlin team of experts and gained a wide range of project experience. Each of the projects he was involved in had minor and major challenges, which he gladly took on and grew from. Alongside his regular project work, he was prepared for the role of Junior Project Manager as part of our "Fit for Future" talent management programme for young professionals. With success, because in 2021 the milestone "Junior Project Manager" finally marked his career path and he took on new tasks and project responsibilities.

Our experienced project manager and managing director, Stefan Ballmer, mentored him along the way and prepared him for the next milestone as a project manager.
He has now reached this milestone and after 2 years as a Junior Project Manager, he will now lead his own major projects responsibly and successfully as a Project Manager.
We congratulate Marcel on this success! We are delighted and proud to accompany and support young talents from our own ranks on their way to becoming managers.
