Father Augustus Izekwe brought joyful Christmas tidings to his home parish in Umukegwu, Nigeria. Thanks to donations from Hüfingen, the first ever well can now be built for its school and kindergarten children. The parish launched Father Augustus’ well project in the autumn. A well like this costs around €13,500. Thomas Liebert of Ingenieurbüro Liebert presented the remaining €8,500 to Pastor Augustus. “We had a good year and wanted share some of it. The well project was just right. It fits our company profile,” said Thomas Liebert. He met with Pastor Augustus and Heike Erath, who is in charge of the well project together with other helpers in the parish.
