ENGINEER / SPECIALIST PLANNER
Specialising in: Supply systems / technical building services for the technical areas of heating / cooling / ventilation / plumbing and sprinkler / fire extinguishing equipment
Type of position: Full time, part time
Your duties:
- Planning, tendering and awarding contracts for building services systems in accordance with HOAI service phases 1–7
- Developing concepts for the relevant technical systems
- Carrying out technical calculations independently and on your own responsibility, such as: pipework network calculations, heating and cooling load calculations, and air volume calculations
- Preparing cost estimates during the relevant service phases
- Preparation of specifications and tender documents
- Communication and coordination within the project team as well as with architects and contractors
- Communication with clients
- Collaboration with our site managers for quality assurance during construction, as well as the commissioning and acceptance of technical systems from a planning perspective
- Monitoring of deadlines and costs for your own planning work
What you need to have:
- A successfully completed degree in building services engineering/technical building equipment/energy technology (B.Eng., M.Eng., Dipl.-Ing., technician) or a comparable qualification
- At least 5 years’ professional experience in the design of building services systems across service phases 1–7, with completed projects spanning all service phases and various types of requirements.
- Proficiency in industry-standard CAD programmes such as REVIT and AutoCAD MEP
- Comprehensive knowledge of calculation programmes such as Linear, mh-Software, Solarcomputer, Dendrit, etc.
- Proficiency in tendering programmes such as Orca, iTwo
- Knowledge of the VOB and HOAI
- A structured, methodical and committed approach to work
- Good communication and teamwork skills, as well as strong problem-solving abilities
- German language skills at least C1 level
