Sustainable, innovative, and eco-friendly utility systems

Customized concepts - perfection is what drives us

Our Management Team: Patrick Merkt, Thomas Liebert, Stefan Ballmer

Balancing ecology, economy, and user requirements. That is our commitment.

Our philosophy—and thus our commitment—is to perfectly harmonize ecology, economy, and user needs in the planning of building services, while utilizing the available natural resources of the four basic elements—fire, water, earth, and air—as efficiently and sustainably as possible. We have aligned all internal and external processes—from consulting and design to planning and construction management during project implementation—with this guiding principle.

Well-thought-out, energy-efficient, flexible solutions—perfectly tailored to your individual requirements

Every project has different requirements and is therefore unique. This requires a shared understanding of the goals you wish to achieve with your project and the framework conditions that must be taken into account. What is the budget available for the project, and what are the desired timelines? Have requirements for the equipment already been defined? What functions should the building services provide? To establish a shared understanding, we sit down with you in workshops right at the start of the project to carefully determine your needs and goals. This involves a detailed analysis of existing and desired production and work processes, internal and external conditions, and the specific usage requirements for the building and its systems, including prioritization. Building on this, our teams of experts develop intelligently controlled and holistic concepts that optimally coordinate architectural and technical requirements, sustainably minimize energy consumption, CO2 emissions, and ongoing operating costs, without compromising on the desired comfort within the building. Flexible building systems and energy concepts ensure that the building technology can be easily adapted to changing usage conditions and innovations. Integrated planning with the consistent application of BIM methods and tools (Building Information Modeling) further ensures the success of the overall project and the quality of planning and implementation.

We accept no limits—except when it comes to the budget

By commissioning us, you place enormous trust in us. We greatly appreciate this. We honor this trust with cost-effective thinking and an extremely responsible approach to your budget, in every phase of the project. That is our commitment.

Our clients—whether they are building owners or project sponsors—must be able to rely on us completely when it comes to quality, costs, and deadlines. Professional project management, an experienced project manager, and a well-coordinated team of specialist planners ensure that the project is completed safely and as agreed. We guarantee it.

For us, personal dialogue is more than just communication.

Through open and goal-oriented communication, absolute transparency throughout the entire project duration at every planning stage, and constructive, solution-oriented collaboration, we build trust, security, and reliability in the project. Because for us, planning means: seeking dialogue. Listening. Finding solutions.

Sustainability is not the same as ecology

We have proven that our solutions pay off over the entire service life of the building in many large projects since our founding in 1996.  However, our goal is not merely to design efficient and safe building systems. One of our most important mottos, “Technology must not only function; it must also fit into the world, calls for the thoughtful use of technology while preserving the environment and natural resources. Building technology plays a particularly significant role when it comes to sustainability. Through our energy-efficient concepts, we make it possible to meet the needs of the current generation without compromising the future of subsequent generations. When we speak of sustainability, our statements are based on completed projects and facts. Sustainability is our unwavering focus.

How we work – This is our motivation

Bringing architecture to life, creating energy-efficient production processes, motivating workplaces, a comfortable home, and “wellness spaces”—all with minimal energy consumption and CO2 emissions. These are the tasks and goals that motivate us every day in our work. “We usually come up with exceptionally good ideas”—In terms of our approach and mindset, we are passionate doers: structured and creative, absolutely solution-oriented, and enthusiastic about every project. Achieving the maximum possible with minimal technology, tailored to your requirements and budget—that is our commitment to every project.

Let’s turn your vision and your project into reality together.

“Today, we are designing the buildings of tomorrow—and, in doing so, shaping our future. In light of climate change and the role that sustainable building technology can play in addressing it, we face this challenge every day in our projects. Being a part of this and taking on this responsibility makes me proud—because we must not leave our children to suffer the consequences of our actions.”

“I was impressed by the fact that Liebert had already committed to the use of renewable energy and its sensible application as early as 2010. When I drive through Berlin today, I see many buildings that we were or are involved in planning. Seeing my own ideas and concepts come to life is one of my greatest professional motivations. The friendly atmosphere here also creates a work environment where you simply feel at ease.
