PROJECT DARWINSTRASSE 1-5, BERLIN, NEW OFFICE BUILDING WITH 6 FLOORS
About the project
Spanning 12,000 square meters, the space offers ample room for creativity and new ways of working. The project is also made unique by its 2,200-square-meter rooftop park—a green plateau accessible directly from the office that offers a breathtaking 360-degree panoramic view of the city. With a planned variety of more than 25 different tree and plant species, it serves as a relaxing oasis for tenants and passersby alike. The area will also provide an important habitat for birds and small animals. Thus, Mierendorff Island will not only feature modern office space but also a small new ecosystem for people and animals.
Flexible workspaces are being created, including on the rooftop park equipped with Wi-Fi. In addition, there are opportunities for retreat and relaxation. Across eight floors, all office spaces are open and flexibly designed and ready for New Work and the radical transformation of our work culture. The office space can be flexibly divided into 24 units of 400 m² each. More than 2,200 m² of outdoor space offer a place of retreat and the opportunity for moments of respite. The foyer, with a six-meter-high ceiling, opens up the building on Darwinstraße, which will not only be a modern, urban office building but also a valuable building block for the urban community.
