PUBLISHING HOUSE HAMBURG SEVERAL RENOVATION PROJECTS
About the project
Refrigeration System Retrofit: In a technical competition for the innovative retrofit of the refrigeration system—with a cooling capacity of approximately 4 MW—at the Hamburg site, Ingenieurbüro Liebert won first place in the ideas competition, beating out 10 other participating engineering firms. IB Liebert successfully impressed the jury with its concept to reduce energy costs by 30% and connection costs by 1 MW through new intelligent hydraulic circuits in the building. As a result, the firm was commissioned to handle the planning and construction management for the renovation of the cooling system, including MSR-GLT technology and the split units in the publishing building. The renovation was carried out while operations continued, ensuring a constant, reliable supply of cooling to the data centers.
Study for the complete renovation of the publishing building, renovation of the technical centers/self-sufficiency, renovation of kitchen exhaust air
Self-sufficiency of 3 construction phases:
Separation of all utility systems to achieve self-sufficiency for the three buildings, ensuring that all buildings have independent building services.
