Project
Am Tacheles

AM TACHELES, BERLIN
CITY QUARTER DEVELOPMENT WITH OFFICE AND RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS

The project
Ranging over 23,346 m² with eleven buildings and three public squares, AM TACHELES redefines the theme of the city. This holistic urban concept provides a unique take on the history of the site. By 2023, a lively urban space will be established between Oranienburger Straße, Friedrichstraße and Johannisstraße for living, working, shopping and culture. A variety of mutually enriching uses will lend character to this architectural lighthouse project, as will its densely greened squares, courtyards and pathways.
Eleven impressive new buildings: each created differently and with visionary power, each a sphere of individuality.

Seven residential buildings offering high-end cosmopolitan living. Three modern office buildings offering working worlds full of inspiration and possibilities. The project is WiredScore and LEED Platinum certified in acknowledgement of the sustainability of the office buildings. Retail and cafés/restaurants will line the public squares, and Aaron-Bernstein-Platz will be one of the largest squares in Berlin-Mitte. Behind its historic facade, the former Kunsthaus Tacheles will become a place of culture once again.
