We invest in our future at the Hüfingen site

Following the renovation and expansion of our offices in Berlin and Frankfurt am Main over the last two years, it is now the turn of our administrative headquarters in the Black Forest.

With the Düsseldorf-based architecture firm Structure Lab, we have an innovative and visionary planning partner at our side who impressed us with their ideas for the redesign of our office in Hüfingen.

The existing building with an area of 600 m² will be completely refurbished and bright, spacious office areas will be created.
In order to create additional space, a modern extension with an additional area of 230 m² over an open-plan floor will be built in place of the previously neighbouring warehouse.

The spatial concept corresponds to our cross-location standard. For our expert teams, this means spacious, bright offices and meeting rooms, areas with flexible standing workstations, think tanks as retreats for concentrated work and a central, open tea and coffee bar for daily dialogue.

The facades of both the existing building and the new building are greened, the living facade ensures an ecological microclimate and acts as a natural air conditioning system for our buildings.

It goes without saying that we also pay particular attention to our core competence, technical building services, in our properties. In future, we will continue to use district heating, which is largely generated from renewable energy such as wood chip systems or the CHP plant, to heat our premises. In addition, heating/cooling sails will be installed in the new building, which will be powered by ecological air heat pumps. These, in turn, will be operated independently via our photovoltaic system on the new flat roof. Overall, we are creating a building that is well below the KfW 40 standard.

In future, charging stations will also be available for our colleagues who are already focussing on e-mobility. We are thus introducing another attractive employee benefit for our TGA experts.
In the future, we will also align our company vehicles in this direction and replace them in order to promote sustainable mobility.
